Yo Gabba Gabba Cake Sunday Showcase, Vol. 17
It's that time of the week for the Yo Gabba Gabba Cake Sunday Showcase, where we like to present to you our favorite Yo Gabba Gabba cake finds!
This amazing first cake was sent in to us by Amy Vonk along with this sweet note!
"Here is my twins' cake for their 3rd birthday! They are obsessed with Yo Gabba Gabba and we got them tickets to YGG Live for their birthday present. My sweet, adorable, awesome neighbors, Kristin & Lani Welch made the twins this cake. Love Gabba Friends, thanks for all you do!"
I can hardly stand how cute the tree stump is, with the teensy Party In My Tummy foods!
Lizzy House made this clever cake! This cake is seriously one of the best creative takes on the song "Party In My Tummy", but surprisingly, it wasn't a party so much for the recipient of this cake who accidentally swallowed a pin! Good thing for wonderful friends to help us keep a sense of humor! I'm thinking this might be a great episode topic for season four; right, Yo Gabba Gabba? (Note: The inside is very pretty, and you can click here to not only the inside of the cake, but the reaction from the cake's recipient upon seeing this cake! Too funny!)
Polkadots Cupcake Factory, located in Austin, TX, is always a favorite of ours as they have made many beautiful Yo Gabba Gabba cakes! This beautiful ToodeeLand cake is their latest Gabba creation!
The Crimson Cake (Purple Flours) in Encinitas, CA, has incorporated the musical aspect of Yo Gabba Gabba in these next two cakes! Really adorable!!
Diane from Follansbee, WV made this giant Yo Gabba Gabba cake, and the thing we love the most about it are the tiny Gabba-sized birthday cake and gifts! The characters were made with sculted out of rice krispie treats covered with fondant and vanilla buttercream. Great idea!!
Jenni from Chi-Cakes made this great Yo Gabba Gabba cake, and the best surprise is that it is a carrot cake with cream cheese frosting! So delicious!
Jenni also crafted these elegant Rice Krispies pops for her friend to hand out as party favors!
Lori from Three Sweet Cakes baked this delightful Yo Gabba Gabba cake set in FoofaLand for her friend's nephew! So cute!!
This cupcake tower by Tara of Tara's Cupcakes was clearly inspired as she created layers of cupcakes topped with fondant characters and a 6" boombox cake! One of the coolest details of this cupcake tower is that Plex's antennas were made with spaghetti painted with a black food coloring pen! Brilliant!
J. Edwards Fine Chocolates & Gourmet Cakes is located in Kokomo, IN, and they are the makers of this gorgeous Yo Gabba Gabba cake that definitely plays up the cheery logo that is associated with Yo Gabba Gabba! The bright colors of this cake was undoubtedly a delight for the recipient of this cake!
Yo Gabba Gabba is surprisingly popular in Buenos Aires, Argentina, which is where we find Piece of Cake Cupcakes! This cupcake is a real visual treat and we're sure it tasted as good as it looks!
Cookies are the expertise of Callye from The Sweet Adventures of Sugarbelle and the detailing in these cookies is enough to knock my socks off! Perfection!
We just love Christie's Yo Gabba Gabba cake and how Brobee's detailing drapes down the side of the cake. Very cute! Christie filled me in on her take on this cake, "I searched for ideas myself and eventually came up with my one-of-a-kind creation. My best friend, Kelly, absolutely loved it and her little boy Brody could not wait for his cake once he saw it. I make cakes for friends and family, this is my first YGG cake and it was soooo much fun making it. I loved watching each character come to life as I created them on the cake."
It takes a really talented baker to make a cupcake cake look so well put together! Rocio ordered these cupcake cakes for her son's birthday party, and this is what happened, "I ordered the pull apart cupcake cake from a local Ralph's supermarket. I took the baker a picture of Brobee and Muno and she did a wonderful job."
Marcus had this amazing Yo Gabba Gabba cake specially made for his daughter's birthday party by Eva Elizabeth at Queen of Tarts Immaculate Confections!
Darling Nona's birthday was complete with her personalized Yo Gabba Gabba shirt and this super great Brobee cake!
