How To Photoshop a Child's Face on Foofa or Plex for Invitations or Birthday Cards!
The follow is a quick Photoshop tutorial to put your child face in
Foofa or Plex!
Want to have the perfect birthday card image or excite your child by
putting their face in the place of their favorite Gabba characters??
With Photoshop it is extremely easy and looks too cute!! Just follow
the few steps to come and you will be turning your children into a
member of the Gabba family!!

Step 1: Find an image of your favorite Gabba Character! I am using
Foofa and Plex for demonstration purposes!!
Step 2: Open the file in Photoshop.
Step 3: Use your selection tool...(magnetic lasso works GREAT for
Foofa and the regular rectangular selection tool works fantastic for
Plex) select only the part of the character that you wish to turn
into your child's face!
Step 4: Once you have made your selection, Copy and Paste it onto a
new Layer. You may need to go to "Layer and then "New Layer" after you
have copied the "face" outline to the clipboard.
Step 5: You should now have two layers: 1. The background which is the
main image of the character. 2. The layer with JUst the face cutout!.
Now what you need to do is COPY the picture of the child you wish to
use!
Step 6: Once the image is on your clipboard..."Paste" it into your
current image.
You should now have 3 layers.
Step 7: In your layers control panel, you need to make sure the image
of your child is on top, the pasted face in the middle, and the
background on the bottom.
Step 8: Now RIGHT CLICK in the layer that has the image of your child.
(For this to work...this layer should be directly ABOVE the layer with
only the face you painted) When you Right Click you will see an option
that said "Create Clipping Mask" Choose it!
Step 9: Your child's image should now be only visible in the "face"
layer. Click and Drag to move the image to where you would like or
re-size the image by dragging the corners until it is where you
wanted!
Step 10: save your file in .jpg format and ENJOY!
