I was pleased to receive this picture courtesy of Laura. Laura's daughter, Abigail, just turned one and her aunt made her these beautiful Yo Gabba Gabba cupcakes for her big day!

Too pretty to eat!

When I saw the Halloween costumes Samara made for her children, Freddy and Pearl, I peeked at their blog to find beautiful Yo Gabba Gabba birthday cakes! When I asked her about them, Samara shared this cool tip with us: She made the pictures on photoshop and took them in to BJ's (a store on the east coast) to have their bakery create the images onto these perfect cakes!

Michelle sent us these pictures of her family's fun handmade Yo Gabba Gabba Halloween costumes!

Michelle's daughter is dressed just like Foofa!

We bet her daughter was really excited and surprised to see Dad dressed as DJ Lance Rock to accompany her for a night of trick or treating! Notice the super sweet flower bag!

ValeriaHM sent in pictures of Valeria's 2nd birthday party in hopes that it would inspire other parents searching online for ideas!

We love these pictures! A few fun details to note:

Earlier today Rollingstone.com published this interview with members of the band Taking Back Sunday. Here we see lead singer Adam Lazzara, and new guitarist Matt Fazzi, talk about projects in the works, including a possible appearance on Yo Gabba Gabba! At the very least, it's a very nice shout out to Yo Gabba Gabba!

Samara sent us these great photos of her kids, Freddy and Pearl, dressed as their favorite Yo Gabba Gabba characters!

Samara also sent us this picture of her and Freddy meeting DJ Lance Rock and Brobee at the NY Times Children's concert at Columbia University a couple weeks ago. She tells, "Freddy was a little shy but gave DJ Lance a book of his drawings, who was really cool."

We always love hearing about how much your kids love Yo Gabba Gabba and the lengths you've gone through to create their dream costumes and birthday party!

This Plex costume was the brilliant creation of Christina, after her son Javier wanted to be Plex for Halloween! We especially like the idea of using gray sweats underneath the yellow vest!

Christina writes:

"My son Javier wanted to be Plex for Halloween sooo bad but I discovered that there weren't any Yo Gabba Gabba costumes available for sale anywhere, not even on the internet. So the only choice I had was to make his costume. The costume was a hit, we received a great deal of compliments from adults and children alike. It was a lot of fun making his costume and he loved it... next is his birthday and guess what the theme will be...Yo Gabba Gabba."

We're still receiving lots of pictures and stories about your Yo Gabba Gabba Halloween costumes! It's amazing how popular the theme was this year considering there were no official costumes available for retail sale!

This darling Foofa costume was sent in by Alesia when her daughter, Kali, had her heart absolutely set on being Foofa for Halloween!

Alesia writes:

My four year old daughter Kali about a year ago started watching Yo Gabba Gabba, and immediately knew she wanted to be Foofa for Halloween the next year! So never giving up on that fact, I went ahead and tried to put something together for her and these pictures are what I came up with. She absolutely LOVED it the first time she put it on, and thought she looked exactly like Foofa!

Mari sent in pictures of Julian's DJ Lance Rock costume that she and her husband made for him for Halloween!

Mari writes:

Julian is 2 yrs old and he loves Yo Gabba Gabba. I handmade his costume and he loved it. The hardest part was to find the fabric for the hat and my husband worked on the boom box. The whole outfit was a hit and Julian was recognized everywhere. He was pretty much the celebrity on our neighborhood that night!
