Creators of Yo Gabba Gabba on Last Call With Carson Daly, November 18th!
The creators of Yo Gabba Gabba (we're assuming this means Scott Schultz and Christian Jacobs) are scheduled to appear on Last Call With Carson Daly Thursday night, November 18th! If you haven't checked in on Carson Daly lately, his format is far different from the original late night comedy/variety show he used to do. Now, his show focuses on really great music, and is known for introducing his audience to the best up and coming bands before they really hit mainstream popularity... something he has in common with Yo Gabba Gabba!. Check out Last Call to see for yourself, but definitely do not miss Thursday night's show!

Yo Gabba Gabba Panel at 2010 Billboard Film and TV Music Conference
On October 28th, the members of the Yo Gabba Gabba music writing staff and Yo Gabba Gabba co-creator, Scott Schultz, were among panelists invited to speak at this year's Billboard Film & TV Music Conference!

The music team for Nick Jr.'s "Yo Gabba Gabba!" pump up before their panel. From left are music supervisor Ben Schultz, director/co-creator Scott Schultz, composer Aaron Watene, ASCAP film & TV/new media representative Jeff Jernigan, composer/sound editor Adam Deibert and composer Jarond Gibbs. As the music element of Yo Gabba Gabba is one of its most appealing features, word around the internet is that it was a fascinating panel to witness. Musician Jarond Gibbs has composed many prominent songs for Yo Gabba Gabba including "Brush Brush Brush" as performed by Of Montreal, "Sometimes We Win, Sometimes We Lose", performed by both The Shins and Dean & Britta (formerly of Luna), and "Bedtime Lullabye" as performed by Mark Kozalek. "I write what I would write anyway, but I just write happier lyrics," said Gibbs at the panel.
Super Cute Bella Watching Yo Gabba Gabba!
My two-year-old Bella Harmony watching her favorite show!
Mariah's 2nd Birthday
I thought that having a small party for my daughters 2nd birthday would be an easier alternative compared to her big first birthday bash but then I soon figured out that this party was also a ton of work. Good thing I had a ton of help from my grandmother who is just an amazing artist!
She made this beautiful custom banner by hand with my daughters picture on it. I'm going to keep it forever!

Urijah Loves Yo Gabba Gabba!
Just a few pics of my son Urijah on his birthday wearing a Brobee shirt that I made him and Muno for his friend Colton. My husband carved the Brobee pumpkin freehand which was cool and Urijah as Brobee for Halloween!!!! We just can't get enough of Yo Gabba Gabba!!!
Getting Ready for the Gabba Concert!
I just wanted to share a few pictures of my Mia with her Gabba friends. With the upcoming concert just weeks away, I wanted to test the printables available online since we'll all be sporting our favorite characters! Mia's favorite is, of course, Toodee. And she's just like her - excitably loud, jumpy and isn't afraid of much! Thanks for the awesome site! We've really taken a lot of helpful hints from it :-)

Sophia's 1st Birthday!
Kat sent in pictures from Baby Sophia's wonderful Yo Gabba Gabba birthday party! We also loved the note she attached. Thank you so much, Kat! We love your party!!
My daughter started watching Yo Gabba Gabba when she was 6 months old, she would get this huge smile on her face and shake her feet and arms all around. So when I looked online originally and saw that there wasn't much to buy for a birthday party I wanted to choose a more generic theme, then I found your site and all the really cool ideas and I was like "Ok, I can do this!" So here are some pictures of my daughter's 1st pictures.
I got a lot of ideas online and decided to make her a Muno onesie and I made her two cousins a Brobee and Plex onesie as well.

I found a picture of a cake online that I thought was really cool and still girly enough so I gave a picture to my mother in law's friend and bought the figurines to go on top and she did an amazing job!!

Yo Super Gabba
A new Gabba video featuring the Super Gabba Friends!
Gavin L's Great Plex Costume!
Jason crafted this excellent Plex costume for his son! He fills us in on how he found the inspiration saying, "Here is a picture of our son from this Halloween. He was insistent on being Plex so I got a few ideas online and headed to my local craft store for supplies. I wanted to be as close as possible to the actual character and I think we did pretty good on everything but the feet."

Awesome job, Jason!
Mathieuboy's Family Yo Gabba Gabba Halloween Costumes!
This was our 8-month old son's first Halloween. He loves Yo Gabba Gabba so much that we decided to go all out!!!!

Foofoo's Yo Gabba Gabba Pumpkins!
So for Halloween I decided to make my little ones pumpkins into the YGG characters. Saw something very similar online so of course I had to try it. Here is how they turned out. I will be using these as center piece for my girls party this weekend! More pictures to come!
Cely's Yo Gabba Birthday Party!
Big thanks to Madgeline who kindly shared with us pictures from her daughter, Cely's, Yo Gabba Gabba birthday party! Everything turned out great, and Cely looked beautiful in her Foofa pink!

Celebrity Shout Outs!
As a fan from the beginning, I have to admit that it is still a little surprising to hear Yo Gabba Gabba be brought up in regular conversation on television, but it happens all the time! Whether it's written into the dialog (like on Community and Dexter), a stuffed Brobee doll appearing on an episode of Parenthood, or celebrities talking about how much they love Yo Gabba Gabba in interviews, it's hard to find any other children's television show talked about so often!
The most recent celebrity shout outs come from Jerry O'Connell, Joel McHale, and Conan O'Brien's interview with Jack McBrayer!
We have video of Jack McBrayer discussing with Conan O'Brien his appearances on Yo Gabba Gabba's Knock Knock Joke of the Day segments!
On today's episode of The Talk, observant Gabba Friend, Dillonsmommy, alerted us to Jerry O'Connell talking about letting his kids stay up to watch Yo Gabba Gabba, and the fact that he and his wife, Rebecca Romijn O'Connell, are both very excited about seeing Yo Gabba Gabba Live in Los Angeles! In fact, O'Connell told PopEater today, "My wife and I keep joking that we're going to rent a limo, get really drunk and go see the show. I called my mom and told her I'm getting tickets for Yo Gabba Gabba and she said, 'Oh for you and Rebecca?' I was like, 'Yeah just for the two of us.' My wife and I were joking about how funny it would be if just the two of us went. We love all of them, Plex, Brobee."
I'm sure all of us can relate to being more excited than the kids for Yo Gabba Gabba Live!!
To watch Jerry O'Connell's interview on The Talk, click the image below to go to the video on the CBS website! He starts talking about Yo Gabba Gabba at around 21:00.
Speaking of Yo Gabba Gabba Live in Los Angeles, another show was recently added! Check out the Yo Gabba Gabba Live Website for more details!
I also came across this quote by Joel McHale in an interview he did with MomLogic!
MomLogic asked McHale: By the way, "What the Kids Are Watching" on "The Soup" is absolutely hysterical. Do you watch those shows with your kids and then use any funny material you might see?
And Joel McHale responded: "Well, Eddie is pretty train-centric these days. We are to the point now where we watch train documentaries with him. And like even though I like it, like he is not into Yo Gabba Gabba or those types of shows. I like Yo Gabba Gabba. I want to be on 'Yo Gabba Gabba.'"
Believe me, Joel McHale, Gabba Friends all want to see YOU on Yo Gabba Gabba!
