Parkers First Birthday Party!

Here's the Fam with our Birthday Duder Parker. Unfortunately we had to take this picture about a week later. I wasn't in ANY of his birthday pics because I came down with some odd illness the day of his party. I was out in 100 degree weather getting sick in the bushes every 30-40 minutes, it was miserable but I think I pulled it off pretty well. I didn't use all of the cut out's I'd intended to but it was fun anyway. I made Parkers onesie out of a $4.00 Circo shirt from Target and a nickjr.com iron on image. Check out the rest of our photos :)

Here's a webcam pic of the invitations I made. I didn't make an extra for myself but one of my friends was so impressed with the invite, he took a picture of it and posted it on his facebook page :) I used the Fathers Day card template from nickjr.com and I modified it. I changed the banner to say "TURNING ONE IS AWESOME!" And added a picture of Parker with the party info. When I have a chance I'll make one and take a few more pictures so you can see the whole thing. Joanns had THE perfect envelopes to fit the cards! (Check the cardmaking section, I'll try to get a pic of those too when I retake some of the invite) They were in all the colors of the characters! They did come with matching cardstock cards so now I have a bunch of bright colored cardstock for other crafting! SCORE!!

Custom made YGG Bubbles for the goodie Bags! My RAD Brother designed the labels and I glued them on. Dollar Tree $1.00 for 3 pack.(Sorry the images are blurry, I didn't want to take the time to charge my DSLR battery, the only camera I had ready was an old one that is sorta funky sometimes).

The Gabba-fied Goodie Bags! Noise makers, slinkies (not pictured), sidewalk chalk, kaleidoscopes & YGG Bubbles! (All items purchased at Dollar Tree except for bags, I got those at Joanns) It's hard to find that sidewalk chalk but you can get similar in crayola brand @ toys r us.

Diggin' in!

Parker opening Gifts with Daddy, notice how he's holding the Brobee I made for him? Cute huh?!

Yeah, I've got pretty good Photoshop skills ;) I made these thank you cards that I am FINALLY going to get mailed out this weekend!! 6x8 format being printed at Ritz Camera. This size is awesome and it takes regular 44 cent stamps :)

How did you change the wording on the Father's Day Card? I've tried pulling it up, but I only get the print screen. Please email me the directions, party in two weeks. daniellehard@aim.com
But I'm still pretty impressed with myself :-p I can be so modest sometimes...lol.
Anyone interested in seeing more on the invites I did? I can make a tutorial if enough people are interested.
I was admiring the party and was surprised to see someone I recognized there! I see you're in Seattle, so that's gotta be Madonna! I am interested in seeing more about the invites. They look really good!
Which brand of transfer paper did you use for the iron on? It looks great!
Thanks for sharing
I think it was HP, I got it at Office Max :) Around $15 for like 10 sheets.
