Our daughter's 2nd birthday party
We did it! We had our Gabba Party and it was so much fun to decorate! I browsed the website and found some ideas for the cakes, cupcake and the Brobee watermelon. I was asked on my post about our Gabba party invitation to please post pictures of the party, so here they are!

This was the main table, where the cake was. I did the cake myself and it turned out great and delicious! I hanged the canvas I painted on the back too as a decoration. CLICK HERE to see the post about this canvas paint.

Close up on the cake, I grabbed this idea on the GabbaFriends forum. It's a chocolate cake. The "fondant" was a simple mix of melted marshmallow, powdered sugar, color and a lot of muscle :) You can see a video of how to make this fondant HERE and we used the recipe on THIS video for the cake.

Close up on the cupcakes. I also got this idea on the forum. Same fondant recipe. This was a lot of fun to create. Kids loved them.

The snacks table. A bit messy cause I took the picture after the party already started.

Close up on Brobee Watermelon. I saw this idea online and thought it was genius. Eyes and eyebrow are blackberries, and horn strawberries. Everything is pinned in place with toothpicks. Everybody loved it and I had a lot of compliments for it. The back of this watermelon is sliced, so you could actually -eat- the watermelon as well.

This muno was a game similar to "Pin the tail on the donkey", but it was actually "Pin the eye on Muno". It was also a great party decoration.

In a corner we had all our Gabba plushies. We are waiting on Toodee and Brobee, they did not arrive on time for the party :(

I also painted a Foofa. This is cardboard and the face features are construction paper. This picture was taken the day before the party after we finished it, because I realized that I did not took any pictures of it AT the party, bummer.

It was an awesome party, we love you guys!
