Yo Gabba Gabba Live VIPs!
Hi! I know there were people on the forums that wanted to see what the VIP "fuss" was all about for the YGG tour! We went and had an absolute BLAST it was a dream come true for Veronica and Charlotte!

For about $80 a ticket...we got to go to the show 2 hours before start time to meet the cast and crew! The hostess greeted us at the door with a FREE CD of our very own (that we later had DJ Lance sign, of course!) Inside they had YGG music playing for us and they had a FABULOUS spread laid out...roasted turkey wraps, veggie chips, dips, juice, fruit platters...you NAME it! The food was delicious!

We were then told to line up because the cast were on their way in! Each character came though the line and let us take pictures with them and everything! It was AWESOME!

Veronica was SO happy when Foofa came through...she could hardly contain herself!

Then DJ Lance HIMSELF came though and we got to chat with him as well!

He even held Veronica! She was FREAKING OUT!

We got to hang out there for awhile...they even had a place for our stroller and our own private bathrooms! Then it was OFF to the show....for an AMAZING TIME! The Aquabats! performed "Pool Party" and Biz Markie was even there!

They played tons of our faves...everyone was singing and dancing!

IT ROCKED! I think my hubby and I liked it even more than the kids did!! HAHA!
Hope you like our pics...enjoy!

We had VIP tickets to the show in Dallas (Frisco). We had awesome seats - third row, but there was no pre-party or anything too special before the show. We had to stand in line with everyone else and the only VIP treatment we got was post-show when we were able to line up for a :15 second "meet & greet" with the gang. We waited about :30 minutes for DJ Lance and the gang to come and they were all visibly exhausted (which doesn't surprise me after the show they just put on). We were able to get a staff member to take a picture of us with them and then were asked nicely to go down the stairs. There was nothing waiting for us, but an empty room with some parents and kids standing around.
Honestly, I had wished for a little more with what we paid for the tickets and the VIP status. We did get one CD for the three tickets I purchased.
It sounds like some of the other cities got the full treatment (see review above), which is awesome. Also, from the looks of things the VIP tickets are a bit more defined for the next tour.
Are we going to the next show? Yes! Are we getting VIP tickets? You better believe it!
Hi, just wondering if you have a child under 2, is it a problem to bring them in with you to the VIP party before the show? Thanks.
I think each child over 1 needs a ticket, at least for the show in my area.
Goodness no, it's not a problem! In fact, it's quite encouraged! Babies of all ages will have a great time!
With the VIP tickets, do you get the better seats as well?
Yes, I saw on the Yo Gabba Gabba website that VIP seats are the first 15 rows. We purchased presale tickets today at bought the VIP ones, and got front row. If we had requested regular seats, we could have gotten 16th row.
So I was just wondering if you ever heard back about whether or not the VIP tickets come with better seats.
I am going to purchase tickets 5/26 for the show in Detroit and am trying to decide if I want to get the VIPs.
Thanks!
No, I just posted it actually. I think you do get the better seats.
I sure hope they do that again i will totally pay that much for a ticket!
