Denise's 2nd Birthday
Our daughter Denise has been watching Yo Gabba Gabba since she turned one. Our DVR is full of gabba episodes. She can watch them over and over again. She knows all of the characters and the words to the songs. Mommy and daddy know them too. Her face lights up with a smile when we turn the tv on. She turned 2 on Jan 21st so we thought it would be perfect to have a Yo Gabba Gabba theme. My husband and I made most of the decorations with the help of nickjr.com printables. It took us 2 weeks to put it all together. Luckily my husband is a professional photographer so he took a lot of pictures. Hope you enjoy! We love Yo Gabba Gabba!

Hi
Can you please tell me how you made the calendars. I want some for my daughter's YGG birthday party but I have no clue on how to make them. Please help me if you can. Thanks
Hi
I am planning a YGG birthday party for my daughter in July and I absolutely LOVE everything that you did!!!! I saw the mini blocks on ebay and I thought they were a little pricey. How much were they when you brought them at Target? And how big were the gumball machines I am going to go to Walmart today but I wanted to make sure I found the right size? Do you still have the extras that you posted about earlier? I live in Alaska now but my husband is in the military and we will be getting stationed in Virginia in June. Thanks for your help
OK - I was just at Walmart and in the Easter candy section, there are pink or yellow mini gumball machines with matching gingham ribbon - $1.00 each!!!!!! Very cute!!!

I see that your husband made the Yo Denise Denise signs on photoshop. Can youhe give me any pointers on how to do so? I just created a photoshop account but somehow think he has an upgraded version that is not free. Am I correct?
Thanks for sharing all your ideas.

Hi There,
WOW - what a party. Denise is lucky to have you both as parents. I am curious to know where you got the mega blocks of the Gabba crew???? That is quite awesome. I just finised a Super Mario party for my son that turned five on 3/8 and my other son will be 2 in October (and I already have my creative juices flowing). It will be Yo Gabba Gabba - OF COURSE.
Thank you for sharing your party ideas with us.

Hello. Thank you for your comments. We bought the mini mega blocks sets at target. They were actually xmas stocking stuffers so not sure if they still sell them. You might be able to get them on ebay though. Good luck!
I just loved what you did for your daughter's party I need your help can you please tell me how and what you use to do the stickers for the napkins I can't seem to get it please help got to may 29 to figure it out for my grandsons 2nd birthday Thanks
Hello. Thank you, we had lots of fun doing it. My husband used photoshop to make the design and then we just printed them out on sticker sheet paper (that you can buy at walmart in the printing paper section) then we just cut them out in little squares and used them to hold the napkins together. hope that helps.
I am looking to hearing from you, my party is in 3weeks
I'm not sure where you live, but I just went to 2 of my local Walmarts this weekend, I live in Southern California. They have the Mini Gumball Machines in the Easter section for $1 each!! They have them in Yellow, Green, Blue and Pink. I picked them up in yellow for my daughter Besha's first bday in April. I was so impressed with Denise's Birthday that it motivated me to take a few extra steps with the give-a-ways & decorations! Good luck in finding them near you!
I saw some in Toys R Us actually - just yesterday. This was in Clearwater, Florida, though. I believe they were either $1.49 or $1.79 each. I thought that was a great price. My friend gave them away for her daughter's 1st birthday in February. I will ask her where she got them and post it as well.
Good luck!

Looking forward to hearing from you. I know you said that you have 16gum ball machines do you have anymore of the toy bags also?

sorry I don't believe we will be able to ship all that stuff. it would be too much of a hassle for us. We don't live near a post office. I would prefer to sell locally. sorry.
I am so in love with your daughter's party. Everything looks wonderful. Please share where you found the glasses for the goodie bags and where you found Denise's leggings. Everything is super cute! You guys did an awesome job.
Thank you! Yea we worked hard! We had so much fun planning and at the party. I found the DJ lance glasses at Target. It was in the party favor section. They were actually sunglasses, and I thought of the idea of punching out the middle. I found her leggings at JCPenny!
Thanks for responding to my post. I'm going to go to Target to see if I can find those glasses. I was able to get London a tutu in the the colors of the Yo Gabba Gabba characters. So, I'm going to pass on trying to find the leggings. Your party has been an inspiration to me planning my daughter's party. Thanks again. :-)
I am about to host a YGG Party and have no clue on these characters. I really enjoyed your decorations, were did you get the items to create the napkin holders?can you give me the instructions on how to create the center pieces. Where can I purchase the mini bubble gum machines and the little signs for it. Have you ever thought about making these and party supllies and selling them. I am a new MOM. I need HELP!!!
Hello. thank you for your comments. I love party planning and wish I could do it full time. But i'm a nurse and so far I haven't found any free time to start a business. One day...hopefully. The napkin holders are just stickers that we used to hold the rolled napkins in place. My husband used photoshop to create them and then printed them on sticker paper and I cut them out. Which centerpiece are you refering to? My husband also photoshopped the little signs for the bubble gum machines. He changed the word gabba to our daughters name. Then we printed them out and I hand cut all of them. The machines were bought at walmart. They were originally stocking stuffers for xmas so I don't think they carry them anymore. I have 16 machines left. are you anywhere near the virginia area? We actually have a lot of decorations left if you want to buy them all as a set. Let me know. Thank You!
Everything looks Beautiful!
Thank You Laurie!. Yea the kids loved the mini gumball machine favors. Supposed to be the "magic ball friends" We also had mini mega blocks brobee sets that the little ones took home. Each child got a pair of DJ lance glasses too. For the adults we printed a picture of Denise with her gabba friends stuffed animals with a 2010 calendar. We had so much fun at the party as we did planning it too.
Wow, thank you so much for taking the time to share all of these pictures from Denise's party! What amazing new ideas you have! I especially love the party favors. Really clever!
WOW! That is REALLY impressive, nice job!!

Thank You! i'm sure your party will be great!
