Felt Club's Holiday 2008 event is here!
That's right-the Holiday 2008 event is here at last! Hosted by three-time Martha Stewart guest, LA's beloved histotainer Charles Phoenix, this family-friendly event features nearly twice as many crafters as last year-over 125!-a full snack bar offering salads, sandwiches, pastries, coffee( plus beer, wine & MARGARITAS!) great music from DJs Lance Rock (Yo Gabba Gabba), Dirty Robot and Mr. Cocoon. We'll also be treated to a few ditties from Mother Gem herself, Leslie Hall (who will also be vending!). You can even wrap up your new finds in the DIY Recycled Giftwrap booth, hosted by ReForm School. It's all going down at our brand new location: the Shrine Auditorium Expo Center in downtown LA. The first 250 visitors get a swag bag full of outstanding treats from our sponsors & vendors, plus we'll be giving away awesome door prizes all day long.
Admission is free for kids under 13, for everyone else we're asking for a $5 donation at the door. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Handmade Nation, the forthcoming documentary film chronicling the rise of art, craft, and design.
