About Plex
I've just started watching Yo Gabba Gabba and am now a major fan. Although I've only seen a few episodes there's one thing I've noticed that's been kinda bugging me. Does it seem like Plex is kinda overlooked at times in the show? When the characters are hanging out together, he's usually standing off to the side watching/overseeing or not there at all(until a problem occurs). It may be just me, but I read an interview with Christian Jacobs and even he admitted that Plex is kinda taken for granted by the others. So what do you guys think? Oh, and just let me say that I love the other characters too and don't hate them in any way. I'm just curious.;)

I've only been watching the show since the first of this year (2010), and, in my opinion, I think the reason you see Plex merely 'hanging around' more often than not is because Plex seems like the "older brother" type character as opposed to the others. He's the one that makes sure things are going smoothly and everyone's playing nicely with the others.
If someone does something wrong or is out of turn, however, Plex lets them know right away. As an example, in "Don't Bite Your Friends", when Muno bit Foofa, Plex immediately stopped the action and chastised Muno for his bad behavior, then proceeded to teach Muno the life lesson about how your friends should be treated. As another example, in the "Happy" episode, when Toodie rudely told Gooble to "go cry somewhere else", Plex immediately went over to Toodie and told her that was not the right way to treat Gooble.
I also see Plex as a "teacher" too. For instance, in the "Family" episode, when Foofa and Brobee were nervous and unsure as to how to introduce themselves to Muno's family, Plex wasted no time in explaining to everyone that introducing yourself to new people is not so scary and rather easy to do. So, in my opinion, Plex's just 'standing around' at times is a very integral and important part of the show.
He's the one that makes sure everyone gets to nap. He drives the car, the train and gases up Jack's mini-bike. Almost like he's almost like a giant Nanny-bot. :)
Ah, I see. Thanks.
I do love how he is a sort of guardian to the others.:)
