Yo Gabba Gabba! Music Is Awesome, Volume 1
Looking over the list of songs, I think it's a really good compilation with just one personal complaint. If I may be so indulgent, I wish they had chosen GOGO13's "Pick It Up", featuring Alex Desert of Hepcat fame. I know that many members of Gabbafriends.com have expressed in our forums "Pick It Up" to be one of the most memorable songs of the entire series.
On a positive note, the producers of this album DID include really awesome tracks like The Aquabats' "Pool Party", the Ting Ting's cover of Altered Images' "Happy Birthday", Datarock's "Smile For the Camera", and Apples in Stereo's "That's My Family". Hopefully we can anticipate a Volume 3 shortly with even more songs that seem to still be missing from our personal collections. In fact, I encourage you to put in the comments your favorite songs that haven't made the Music is Awesome playlists yet. Let's hear 'em!
