Mason's Birthday Party
Mason turned 2 the beginning of January and we had a small party for him.
I was really excited about the cake I decided to make Mason's character of YGG, Brobee. You can tell we had Brobee colors everywhere else.
It was incredibly simple to make, a basic cake sheet, rounded at the top and I make a box of cupcakes. The cut off part was shaped to Brobee's horns. I used regular frosting and food coloring. I had never made a cake like this before so I did a trial run the week before. I turned the cupcakes into his abnormally long arms and they held the candles to blow out.
The party favors where Chinese take-out boxes with the print outs from the Nick Jr site. The kids loved them, they where full of noise makers. The little girls have been carrying the Foofa ones as purses.
My friend printed me out coloring books everyone loved that, I made enough for everyone to take them home too.
We spent a lot of time watching my fav YGG shows. We are lucky enough to have all 28 episodes on our DVR! You have no idea how often my 2 year old runs to me saying GABBA MOMMY GABBA. Its a blessing and a curse :D I hope you enjoy my little party.
