Lotus' Birthday Party Invitation (With FREE Printable Invitation!)
Lotus' mom, Jen, is a graphics designer who put together this adorable invitation for her daughter's birthday.
Jen wanted to share with other parents so she generously gave us a PDF version of the invitation for you to download and edit for your child's birthday party!

Downloading instructions from Jen:
Here are two files (the front and back of a birthday invite, 2 per page for printing) that anyone with Adobe Acrobat Reader can customize. A free download of Acrobat Reader is available here: Download Free Adobe Acrobat PDF Reader
(If people have an older version of Reader, it may not work so they will need to download this latest update.)
Thanks, Jen!

Is there anyway you could please tell me how to change the font color for this invitiation? I have a little boy and would like to change the color to accomodate a boy. Btw, the card is great and I appreciate you sharing it with everyone.
I WAS WONDERING IF THERE IS A WAY THAT I CAN CHANGE THE FONT COLOR. I HAVE A LIL BOY & WE ARE THROWING HIM A YO GABBA GABBA PARTY & WELL THIS IS THE BEST INVITATION THAT I COULD FIND. YOU DID A WONDERFUL JOB ON CREATING THIS INVITE. :)
This is perfect! My daughter is also named Lotus and is also having a Yo Gabba Gabba party.
Such a cool invite. How do I change font color for a boys party and the font size so it fits in the party info? Thanks
Jen,
Thanks for the invites, they are better than what I have found in a store or on the internet. I filled out the fields with my daughter's info and when I printed them off, the black lines in the corners and in the center printed off...how do I get rid of them or hide them so that they are not on the invites when I print them off. Thank you for your help.
I really appreciate your generosity and taking the time to make these invites available to people like me.
love love em.. thanks!
now i just need to find a color printer!!!
thanks!
Jen,
Once again, many thanks for sharing your birthday invitation. I was able to change the font color and save the invitation for my son't birthday. I'd like to post it in case anyone wants "boyish" colors. Please let me know if this is okay with you.
Thanks,
Danielle

Jen, thanks again for posting the birthday invitation. I was able to change the coloring for my son's party to blue and green. I then was able to save it and take it to Kinkos to print. I'd like to post the boy color version for others to download if it is okay with you. Please let me know. Once I hear from you then I will post it.
Regards, Danielle

for some reason everytime i click the print sign it asks me to save instead of printing!can you help me please?
It worked perfect! I printed front and back on one sheet and it looks super. Thanks so much for sharing.
I have been searching for Gabba party supplies, and this is the best I've seen. Thank you so much for allowing others to download the invitation!
Ok, so as with most things, time is the answer. I left it alone, did some errands & came back for another shot. IT WORKS!! Thanks so much for the help and having such an awesome option!!
Keira's Mommy
so glad it worked for you!!!
Thank you so much for sharing your file. I want to do a YGG theme for my son's 2nd birthday, but am not coming up with any homemade invites that I have been proud of. This really helped me out! One question though...is it possible for me to change the font color to a different color? If so, how?
so sorry - I don't think you can do this unless you use photoshop or graphics editing software
Thanks for the reply. I will have my husband play around with it. I just appreciate you willing to share. Now, I am really getting excited about planning my son's b-day party!
It must be a huge file. I sat here for a few minutes and it downloaded. Give it another try.
I have my daughters 2nd birthday fast approaching & after many attempts at homemade invitations and not loving them I've come across yours and love it. I upgraded my adobe reader but each attempt to download fails to bring over the YGG images. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi Keira's mommy!
Which browser are you using? I just tested it in three different browsers (IE, Firefox, and Safari), and it seemed to come up OK, but extremely slow because of the size of the file. Are the words showing up, or is it just the characters that don't show?
I'll keep playing with it to see if I can fix it, but I can't see what's wrong just yet, so any additional information will help. Sorry about the inconvenience!
Thanks for your help Laurie. I've tried it both with Safari & Internet Explorer (upgrading Adobe on both) and only words come up, no pictures/characters. (it comes up quickly for me but of course without the characters)
Thanks for checking it out. I hope we figure it out b/c I LOVE them!!

So sorry if you're having trouble!
Depending on your internet connection, the Acrobat Reader download may take a little bit - it's a program that you have to install, so that can take some time. It's around 40 mb so it's not your average file.
Sorry - this is the best way to share something that is customizable (with free software, anyway!) We did test this on three computers and it worked fine on all of them, so it DOES work, I promise!
Good luck!
