Izze's Birthday Party
We had been anticipating hearing all about Izze's Yo Gabba Gabba birthday party. Now, just a couple days after her big party, we were lucky to receive pictures and the story from Izze's mom, Kalli! We are especially excited to read about all of Kalli's great ideas for Yo Gabba Gabba party games ideas!

I think Izze's birthday went pretty smoothly. She got some great gifts, we played some fun games and she loved every minute of it.
For starters we sent out these invites, I posted before:

We ordered a Muno cake from a local vegan bakery (the owner hadn't heard of the show, but is now a big fan!) I really love this cake it was yummy and cute!

We had balloons in each color of the YGG gang (this is just one bunch of balloons, we had quite a bit more)

We played Pin the Eye on Muno. This is also one of the few photos we remembered to take of Izze... oops. She was wearing a Muno guitar shirt (he's her favorite) and a red tutu. We made Muno's head from a red poster board, I cut a large white circle and his teeth out of regular white paper. I colored the mouth with a permanent marker, the pupils are from a black poster board. It's hard to see, but with red marker we drew Muno's bumps.

Here's the outcome of the game, the kids did pretty good and it was a hit.

This game was "Brobee's Party in My Tummy Food Toss" We propped Izze's Brobee plush against a large green bin and had the kids toss in play food to see who could get the most in from the line.

Then all the kids took turns sharing a "Cool Trick" after each kid's trick everyone cheered, "COOL COOL COOL TRICKS!!! YEAH!!!" This was a very fun thing to do.

After Cool Tricks, we had a Dancey Dance Party and everyone could dance to the YGG songs we downloaded on itunes.
It was a great turn out and the kids (and even the parents) really seemed to enjoy themselves. I know Izze had a great time and when we got home she was out like a light.

love the ideas for games! we will definitely be playing pin the eye on muno and feed brobee at my sons YGG bday in august! Thanks.
