Nick Jr. Printables
Nick Jr. has printable valentines from their various shows, and one of them features our beloved Foofa! I printed them all out on cardstock and my toddler was pleased to have the set of cards all to himself!

KayaPapaya's Heart-Shaped Crayons
In case you missed it, KayaPapaya came up with this genius idea of making heart-shaped crayons with your kids. Using bright primary and secondary colors, they're so appropriately Yo Gabba Gabba! We love it so much, it bears repeating to those who may not have seen it in the forums!

KayaPapaya writes:
"They are recycled from Kaya's bits and pieces of broken castaway crayons (or upcycled when we run out of brokens). There a few different methods, but the easiest in my opinion is to use metal cookie molds that can be baked in the oven. I just peel the crayons, break them into small pieces ( about 1/2"-1" pieces) fill the mold cavities and bake at a low temp. I use 350 and it takes about 10 minutes but honestly I don't time anything, I just keep an eye on it and try to remove it from the oven as soon as the pieces are all the way melted. If you leave it in too long the melted crayons will begin to burn and fill the house with smoke and an awful smell.
"The pan I use for the small hearts I got at Michael's and I'm pretty sure it's on sale this week for $7.99"

KayaPapaya also purchased some Yo Gabba Gabba invitations at a store near her (said by others to have been seen at Walgreens, Target, etc.), and they made the perfect finishing touch to her daughter's class valentines!

We hope you have a safe and wonderful Valentine's Day! If Foofa were to lend her wise advice today, we're sure she would say something like treat everyone with love and kindness! Or something like that.

You have no idea how many broken crayons I have! The thought of recycling them and making new ones never even crossed my mind! Thanks so much for sharing and explaining how easy it is to do! I can't wait to try this with my kids!
