Da Momma has some pretty neat Cool Tricks!
We recently received an email from GabbaFriend Da Momma. She kindly shared with us her Yo Gabba Gabba! goodies.
Gooble gets some love from Da Momma!

I finally made my very first plush! The face is embroidered, that’s where I was messing up the most which is why it looks a little wonky, hehe. I used felt though! Argh! Felt doesn’t hold up too well and my daughter plays with it a lot, so Gooble’s all fuzzy looking now, hehe. I plan on making another one at some point, but I’m going to use a white, plush, velour type of material instead. It’ll match the other Gabba’s better and hold up over time.

A charm necklace I made for my 2-year-old daughter. She’s a big fan of the TV show Yo Gabba Gabba. Unfortunately the DJ Lance Rock charm got a little messed up while making this, but aside from that little defect I think it turned out pretty good!

The centerpiece and party favor bags I made for the double Birthday party I threw for my girls. They didn’t make any Yo Gabba Gabba decorations or party favors when we threw the party. Sure enough though, like a month or so after their Birthday’s YGG party supplies started showing up in stores and on-line, lol! That’s usually the way my luck goes, hehe.
The centerpiece was made of different printables from the Nick Jr. website, except for the piece with the girls names, which I made myself. I printed it all out onto card stock, cut them out, then attached them to kabab skewers and just randomly assembled them onto a base of styrofoam that I had wrapped with tissue paper. I really like how it turned out.
The party favor bags also came from Nick Jr. printables, I just printed them out, bought some colored bags, and glued them on. The little boom box’s are actually little boxes of animal crackers, with the boom box glued on. I got the idea for that from Mrs. Sanchez at the Gabba Friends website

I love your centerpiece! I am trying to make one but is artistically challenged. How did you make the piece with the girls names on it? I found the font, but I can't figure out how to get it onto the background because all of the backgrounds I found online has "Yo Gabba Gabba" on it. Thank you
i will be copying your center peice. I love the way yours came out. great job
I absolutely love the charm necklace you made.It is soo.. cute. Where did you get the charms for it??
Please share how you made the charms. They are adorable!
I love the centerpiece that you created! My daughter's party is in a few weeks and I would like to do something like this! Can you tell me how you created the piece with the girls' names on it? Do you have a special font that you used? Thank you for your help!
I was really happy with how it turned out to! And it was so easy (and fun)! The font I used is called "Grinched" and you can find it free on-line, just do a search on it. I also added a wave effect, and randomly threw in lowercase/capitol letters, just to liven it up a bit. Any other questions, don't hesitate to ask.
Good luck!
I downloaded the font and it is perfect! I really does have the look that I was trying to find! Thank you for answering my question so quickly. It is really great to know that there are such creative and helpful mommies out there! Again, thank you!
