Hi! I'm Natalie and we had a Yo Gabba Gabba party for my daughter Cara's 1st birthday. I wanted to share some of the things we did. We got a lot of inspiration and ideas from Gabba Friends. :)
Here are a few pictures:
We played Pin the Eye on Muno:
and had a Brobee loves to color art station:
I made some paper lanterns to look like Plex, Brobee, and Muno: (I have other close ups, too)
We made candy bar wrappers for favors:
and as you can see here, we changed the logo to use our daughter's name and say she's 1. :)
we used that new logo on water bottle labels, too:
here's the cake table set-up:
We also did iron on shirts for ourselves and our son. Here's a picture of Cara, the birthday girl:
Thanks so much for letting me share. We had a great time!!

hi there!
i'm planning a yo gabba party for my twin boys 1st bday party and absolutely love your muno and brobee paper lanterns. can you tell me how you made those? thank you so much! i love them!!
Hi. Thanks so much!
I used regular construction paper and cut out the shapes to make the faces. Then used double sided tape to stick them on. I didn't really have a method- just tried to get it as close to the characters as possible. I used a ruler and a coffee can to get the edges and circles right too.
Wow.....
You did such an amazing job. My daughter is turning 1 in a couple week and we're having a party for her in 2 weeks. We too are having a Yo Gabba Gabba party for her.
I wanted to ask you.....how did you do the wrappers for the chocolate bars and water? Did you design and print them yourselves? I wanted to do that too but I'm not that "artsy" and not familiar with photoshop.
If you can give me some guidance....maybe I can try it myself.
Thanks....look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks so much. :)
My husband did the logo in Illustrator and then printed them at home. We used regular paper for the wrappers and then cut to size. Double sided tape to keep them in place. We printed to labels for the water bottles.
There are free templates on the web for candy bar wrappers. You can try using them so you get an idea of how to space it and then add in whatever art you want. :)
