Baby Foofa Costume
Bethany shares with us how she made for her brand new baby girl, Nora, a sweet Foofa costume!

Bethany writes:
For the basics, I purchased two long-sleeved, pink onesies - one size 0-3 months (which size she actually is) and the other size 3-6 months (a size bigger so I could stuff it with fluff!), a plain pink newborn cap, and pink tights, 3 sheets of pink felt, 1 sheet of yellow.
I cut out petals for the hat and doubled them up with a hot glue gun (to stiffen them up just a bit), then glued a yellow circle in the center. I hot glued the entire thing right on to the cap.
For the body, I hot glued the necklines of the two onesies together, leaving the snaps able to open for ample head room. I laid a sheet of pink felt onto the neckline, traced it, and cut out petals to fit. I doubled that up with hot glue as well. Then, I glued that to the front. I finished with stuffing between the two onesies with a rolled batting. I didn't even have to worry about hot gluing any of the bottom together, because the folded, rolled stuffing stayed in so nicely.
Easy peasey!
Honestly, the hardest thing about making this costume was finding the time to cut out all the petals.

OMG! That is the cutest thing I have ever seen! Great job!! She looks so sweet sleeping in her costume! hehe!
