Lets get the sillies out! for Brayden's Birthday!
Autumn sends us great pictures of her sons birthday party! She even had Plex make a special appearance! It makes me happy to know she found GabbaFriends helpful when planning for her party. Thank you to every one who sends in their parties and ideas, to share with everyone! You guys make cool parties like this possible!

My son Brayden just turned 3 on February 16th. He loves Yo Gabba Gabba and insisted that he throw a YGG party. I looked everywhere for pre-made decorations and found nothing. I'm so glad I ran into your site, because it made planning his party easy so thank you GabbaFriends.Com! We first started off with the the invites that were posted earlier in the week. I took a picture from Brayden's first 2 birthdays as the first 2 heads, then used a new picture for the 3rd head. I put all the info on the back in the yellow area. If anyone would like help on how to do it, I'd be more than willing, just e-mail me. (aut_and_bray@yahoo.com)

We threw the party down at the beach at our apartment complex and grilled hotdogs and hamburgers for everyone. It was supposed to rain, and luckily it didn't. I bought red, blue, yellow, pink, and green paper plates, napkins, cups, streamers and tablecloths.
Every table had a theme, and the streamers decorated the entire place. We had the cut outs for the balloons, but ended up not having enough time to get them glued on. (We only slept for 2 hours Saturday night!).
I got 5 buckets in the appropriate colors at the dollar store, along with matching tissue paper, and wrote the name of each character on the front of the bucket with puffy paint.
Then I printed out the iron-on's from Nickjr.com (they print large & I used them for most of the decorations) and glued them onto dowels. That became the centerpiece.. Here is an example of Plex & Brobee:

I also printed out 3 iron on's per tablecloth and used Mod Podge (I recommend this glue for all the decorations) to glue the faces on. Here are the Plex and Muno ones:

Next were the hats out of the cardstock left from the invitations & put each characters hat on the corresponding table.

This picture is of the cups we used. I just cropped the heads off a picture of all the characters and Mod Podge's their heads onto the appropriate color cup!

We started off playing Brobee's party in my tummy food toss. I used the bucket idea & drew Brobee's body on construction paper and glued it on to the bucket. We had fake veggies for the kids to attempt to throw in the bucket. It was cute! Thank you for that idea!
Next we did the pinata. I made it out of paper mache in the shape of Toodee's face. It was real easy and messy if anyone's interested on how it was done just let me know. Here is a picture of the pinata before it was busted!

Brayden waiting for his next turn to swing:

After that we all ate, then it was time for Plex to come do dancey dances with the kids! We made a costume out of mostly cardboard and yellow paint, and Brayden's Dad Brian dressed up as Plex to come wish Brayden a Happy Birthday! (Thank you Grandma, Uncle E, and Aunt Dee Dee for the help with the costume!)

He came and danced with all the kids. He also had a Gab N Sing Plex in his door just for Brayden! Brayden also thinks that 'The Sillies' are worms, so his Grandma got some gummy worms and made little bags with happy birthday ribbon around them for Plex to throw up in the air. After all the kids got their worms, they danced to the Wiggle Song, and tried to wiggle them all out!

Plex even got goofy and did the 'Rock On' sign to the camera! Silly Plex!
All the kids were sad to see Plex go, but it was time to move on to cake and presents! The cake was the one thing I had to put together last minute. I got the fondant on and ran out of time, so took the YGG cut out and Brayden's figurines and stuck them on the cake. Took a black tube of icing and wa-la, Brayden's cake.

After cake and presents, they played the last game, Pin The Eye on Muno. (Again thank you Gabba Mom's for the great ideas!) My 25 year old brother decided to be a good sport and try for Brayden. =)

I then gave all the kids their goody bags that I made from the printables along with the puzzles, and that concluded the party!
Also, prior to his party, our present to him was a golden retriever. We drove up to Georgia the previous weekend to pick him up, and Brayden decided to name him Gabba. So now we have Gabba the Golden. =)

He loves his Gabba! (And we also call him saying, 'Yo, Gabba Gabba! Come!' =D)
Happy Parents!

Thanks GabbaFriends.com!!

Brayden also took in the YGG valentines for all the kids in his class, along with these fun YGG cupcakes to celebrate his birthday!

Again thank you everyone for your AAAWWEEESSSOOOMMMEEE ideas! Everything was such a blast!
Autumn has also made some cute crafts that she was gracious in sharing with us!
This is a crocheted Muno my Memaw made for Brayden. I found the stitching pattern HERE.

This last picture is also a pattern I found online at NickJr.com. It shows you how to make 'new sew' pillows with a hot glue gun. I just sewed them instead. Foofa looks a little goofy, haha!

The committment that went into this party from the parents for their child was incredibile. If only all parents would committ as much of their time for their children as these two have, what a wonderful world this would be. Great job Autumn & Brian. Keep up the great work.
Autumn did such a wonderful job! Everything turned out great and Little Guy had a blast! (all the guests did too!) Love, Mimi and Papa Ron
If that isn't love, I don't know what is. That was awesome.
Thank you so much! I was so proud of him getting up in front of all our friends and family dancing around with the kids. :)
